Job Objective
Silvercrest is seeking a highly motivated Internal Institutional Sales professional to join our U.S. Institutional distribution team. This role is a vital part of the firm’s business development, client relationship, and client service efforts. Working in partnership with our U.S. focused investment teams and our institutional business development team, the Internal Sales professional will help develop and maintain existing relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the institutional investment sales cycle and market participants, strong knowledge of investment products, and a client-focused approach. They should possess exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills, as well as a passion for cultivating trust and providing solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with U.S. focused investment teams to develop and execute business plans aimed at driving asset growth through separate accounts and sub-advised relationships.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment across Silvercrest’s business units, contributing to broader sales, distribution, and client service goals.

Build new relationships and grow existing ones by engaging with clients, prospects and consultants through proactivecalls, marketing updates, and consistent follow-ups.

Execute an outbound calling strategy to support business development, including scheduling meetings, conducting campaign calls, providing follow-ups, and delivering key product insights.

Partner with the U.S. focused investment teams and client service teams to support seamless onboarding, account maintenance, and retention efforts.

Communicate and coordinate effectively across time zones to align with clients, prospects, and team members.

Manage calendars for external business development professionals, particularly in relation to prospect and client on-sites.

Coordinate with marketing and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met for client and prospect engagements.

Prepare and coordinate materials for presentations and travel to ensure professional and timely delivery for client engagements and business development activities.

Prepare for and follow up on prospect and client meetings, offering seamless support to the U.S. institutional business development team while maintaining detailed records in CRM platforms.

- 2–5 years of experience in investment management / financial services, preferably in business development, client service or similar client-facing roles.
- In-depth knowledge of capital markets, mutual funds, and separate accounts.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a proven ability to engage, build trust, and solve problems for clients.
- Demonstrated success in sales and relationship management, including developing client relationships and delivering a superior client experience.
- Self-driven with a team-oriented mindset and the ability to contribute to shared goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- Familiarity with eVestment, APX, Moxy and Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
Salary Range
We anticipate the base salary range for this position at Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC to be approximately $120,000-140,000 USD. The actual base compensation offered will be determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant years of experience, career progression, qualifications, educational background, certifications or professional licenses, and role-specific skills. Base salary represents one element of Silvercrest’s comprehensive compensation package, which also includes robust benefits and may include incentive-based compensation.
