Job Objective

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Global Equity Research Analyst to join an equities team within Silvercrest’s global investment division. The team is highly collaborative, with a competitive compensation structure based on overall performance. The Analyst will primarily research and analyze companies within global equity markets. They will assist in managing a diversified portfolio covering multiple sectors and work closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers. This role offers excellent learning opportunities for someone interested in global equity markets, particularly in understanding different economic environments and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in researching and proposing investment opportunities across various sectors within global equities.
  • Support senior analysts by conducting financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and industry research.
  • Help prepare detailed reports and presentations on potential investments and market trends.
  • Monitor relevant benchmark companies, financial markets, and global macroeconomic factors.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, discussing investment strategies and portfolio management decisions.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management teams and other sector analysts across different regions.
  • Contribute to regular marketing and client meetings, providing research insights and portfolio updates.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and global financial news.
  • Assist in maintaining internal dashboards and tools used for tracking portfolio performance and sector developments.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably within finance, economics, or investment research.
  • Interest in global equity markets, with a broad curiosity about global sectors such as technology, consumer, financials, or industrials.
  • Basic financial analysis skills, with the ability to learn and conduct fundamental equity research and valuation analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex investment ideas clearly.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a desire to contribute to the team’s success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA enrollment or intent to pursue the CFA designation is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across different regions and sectors in a global working environment.
