Job Description

Silvercrest’s Summer Internship Program is both an educational and experiential opportunity for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The internship is designed to give the student a valuable learning experience and provide a working knowledge of how Silvercrest, as an investment advisory firm, operates for the benefit of its clients. Additionally, an intern can expect to gain exposure to areas of the business such as portfolio management, trading, marketing, family office, and alternative investments.

Projects can include assisting with the aggregation and analysis of economic data, updating data sets and testing on historical ranges and values of an earnings valuation model, creating focus fund reports on new and existing investment managers, building out portfolios and research data in Bloomberg and assisting with a process to gather data for a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized, pro-active, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently on directed projects
  • Professional and personable in relating to Silvercrest employees
  • Excellent follow-up and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and have good work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Prior internship in Finance adds merit

Salary range: $25 per hour
