Institutional Equity Management

Asset Management is in our name. Silvercrest is an investment manager at its core, with a mission to provide best-in-class institutional-quality investment solutions to all our clients.
For over a decade, Silvercrest has partnered with select institutional clients to provide asset management, through our proprietary long-only equity management capabilities. We manage small cap through large cap U.S. value and growth equity, and global and international value equity strategies.

Our Services

U.S. Value Equity

Silvercrest’s U.S. value equity management team is responsible for U.S. Large Cap, Small Cap, Multi Cap and Equity Income portfolios. The team employs a disciplined, value-oriented security selection methodology and also offers sector-specific capabilities, including REITs and MLPs. The strategy is designed to seek above average compound annual returns over complete market cycles with below-market levels of risk. Because the team takes a conservative and long-term approach, portfolio turnover is low. The team favors financially transparent and understandable companies run by proven management teams with substantial equity stakes and whose stocks sell at attractive valuations. This “value with a quality bias” style of investing is designed to be a core equity strategy and has consistently performed well over full market cycles.

U.S. Growth Equity

Silvercrest’s U.S. Growth Equity team manages U.S. Large Cap through Small Cap portfolios. It seeks to assemble diversified portfolios of innovative growth companies addressing significant market opportunities through an intensive focus on company managements and by utilizing a thematic overlay. Typical investments exhibit differentiated and defensible market positions, financial strength, proven management leadership and a stock valuation level which offers a favorable risk/reward ratio.

International Value Equity

Silvercrest’s International Value Equity team offers Small Cap, Multi Cap and Focused International portfolios, and Global Value and Emerging Markets portfolios. The team seeks to assemble diversified portfolios of high-quality international companies that can potentially deliver 3 to 5 year growth of cashflow, EPS, sales and/or book value. Careful attention to valuation enables the team to take advantage of marketplace mis-pricings to invest in these companies at opportune moments, providing the potential to benefit from an upward revaluation compounded by each company’s intrinsic growth.
